Octodad: Dadliest Catch is an adventrue game developed and published by Young Horses, Inc. This is a sequel from the 2010 freeware game, Octodad! In this game, you will be controlling Octodad, an octopus that's probably tired of his life being just an octopus and decided to become a human. You will be controlling his every movements as he struggle his way blending in as a human, husband and a father to his children which doesn't know that he is an Octopus.

••Controls••
The controls is a bit of hard at first but will become easier if you get used to it.

The shoulder buttons works as your legs. Holding the L button will lift the left leg and holding the R button will lift the right leg. You can move by alternately lifting one of Octodad's leg and pressing the left analog stick to the direction you want him to go.

Move the right arm by using the left and right analog stick. By pressing down on the left analog stick, you will move the right arm backward. Pressing up on the left analog stick will move the right arm forward. Move the left analog stick left or right to move the arm on that direction. The right analog stick works as the direction the arm will be going. Moving it up will make it go up, down will make it go down, etc..

Grab or release an object by pressing the X button.

••Co-op••
Enabling the co-op mode enables you to play with your friend on a single PS Vita. You can control Octodad's half part while your friend can control the other half. The left part can be controlled with the left buttons of your PS Vita and the right part with the right buttons. The left and right corners of the touch screen can be used to move Octodad's arms.

••Gameplay••
The gameplay is very fun and addicting. You just need to solve some puzzles and find an object to advance to the story. You can also interact with almost all the objects in the game. You can destroy stuff or toss them all around. Just do not try to make a mess when there is someone looking or you might blow your cover. You must also avoid hitting the other people with the object you're holding. There is also an arcade area where you can play some mini-games (My favorite part of the game) which is also needed to advance to the story.

••Extras••
There are 2 extra mini-stories you can play in this game. Each mini-story is about 10-15 minutes long.

There are also neckties that you can unlock and collect. The neckties can be found all over the game. You just need to search for them and reach them in order to unlock. You can dress Octodad with the neckties you've unlocked.

This game is one of the best adventure game I've played. The story is very funny and touching. The controls is a bit frustrating at first. The game is a bit short. It only took me almost 2 hours to finish the game and took me just 30 minutes for the 2 extra scenes. You can also extend the gameplay by collecting all the neckties that are hidden in the game. All in all, this is still a highly enjoyable game that can be enjoyed by all ages.
