Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia today announced the release date for paid DLC, Mask of Idris, for its dramatic exploration action RPG, CODE VEIN II. The paid DLC will be available on 9 September 2026 on PlayStation®5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam®.
Along with this announcement, the full recap trailer for the DLC has also been revealed, showcasing what awaits in the Forsaken World. Watch the trailer now:
CODE VEIN II takes players on an epic journey where they wield time as a weapon, traverse through past and present versions of an explorable world and uncover a dramatic battle to save humanity. The Mask of Idris expansion features exploration set in the Forsaken World, a setting forged from the converged passions of worlds that vanished due to historical alterations. At the core of this alternate world, a colossal, swirling spindle of these passions continuously draws in emotions from all times and spaces and now threatens to impact the real world. As this new battle unfolds, players will cross paths with Liv Voda, the alluring guardian of time and space who possesses a combative personality.
The Mask of Idris expansion serves as post-game content, requiring players to have reached the “Luna Fraterna” ending of the main narrative of CODE VEIN II as well as completing the sub-mission “Valentin’s request” to begin the new campaign. Simultaneously, Free Update Version 2.0 will be released with the expansion, implementing various updates including additional content that will allow players to explore the post-main game world with their partners. More details about the free update and new content to come will be released at a later time.

In the world of the future, civilization has collapsed as the result of an event known as the Resurgence.
Humanity has only managed to survive thanks to the strength of immortal vampire-like creatures known as Revenants.
However, the sudden appearance of the Luna Rapacis has turned all Revenants into mindless cannibals, and set the world on a path to ruin.
As a Revenant Hunter, the protagonist has been tasked with saving the world, and together with a young girl, must embark on a journey 100 years into the past.
The game is a combination of exploration action, in which you venture through dangerous areas and tackle powerful foes alongside your partner, and history-changing drama, as you try to save the world from ruin.
