New Trailer for One Piece: Burning Blood Unveils Different Battle Styles and New Game Modes

Today BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. is excited to release a new trailer for One Piece: Burning Blood. The new action packed “Battle for Marineford” trailer gives One Piece fans a closer look at the different battle styles and game modes within One Piece: Burning Blood. One Piece fans will be happy to learn that they will be able to use Devil Fruit and Haki abilities to perform special attacks taken straight from the One Piece anime and manga series.

The trailer highlights One Piece: Burning Blood’s 3 VS. 3 fighting action where players can utilize their entire team to execute Unity Chain and Unity Assist attacks. Unity Chain attacks gives players the ability to call upon allies for added combo attack strength while Unity Assists are used to break an opponent’s combos.

The new trailer also introduces various game modes featured in the game including Free mode (a versus mode where players can set up their own battle variables), Online mode (players take-on players from around the world), Paramount War mode (players can experience the Marineford Arc of the One Piece story from different character perspectives), and the newly announced WANTED Versus mode which gives players a chance to collect bounties through various challenges.

One Piece: Burning Blood includes over 60 support characters. While not playable, these characters can add various buffs like increased attack damage, defense fortification, and the ability to heal allies.

One Piece: Burning Blood is launching in the Americas on May 31, 2016 (fans in Brazil will join the battle on June 3, 2016) for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and the PlayStation®Vita handheld system. One Piece: Burning Blood is also coming to PC via STEAM in June 2016.
