Ubisoft's Just Dance Now Launches On Apple TV

Join the party with Just Dance Now on Apple TV

Today, Ubisoft announced that Just Dance Now, a mobile experience of the best-selling* music video game franchise of all time, is now available to download from the App Store for Apple TV.

Originally launched in September 2014, Just Dance Now allows players to enjoy Just Dance® tracks anytime, anywhere and with an unlimited number of friends while playing with their smartphones. The Just Dance franchise has two separate mobile apps: First, Just Dance® Controller App which allows players to use their smartphones connected to new-gen hardware consoles; and secondly, Just Dance Now which lets players connect their smartphone to any internet-connected PC, Mac®, iPad® or Apple TV®.

Just Dance Now’s availability on Apple TV will let players use their new Siri remote™ controller or their smartphones to connect to the Apple TV and join the party. In addition to playing with friends, players can also sync their progression across the Apple ecosystem, switching seamlessly from their smartphone to the Apple TV and vice versa.

Upon downloading the app, players can instantly access a limited number of free songs. To access the full catalogue of tracks and exclusive content, players can choose from different types of subscriptions to suit their needs. Players who had previously purchased a subscription on the mobile version will be able to carry them over to Apple TV. Players will also have the ability to unlock songs à la carte to build their own playlist by purchasing in-game currency.

More than 200 tracks out of the Just Dance catalogue are available at the launch of Just Dance Now on Apple TV.

For another immersive experience, players can also use Chromecast on their TV.
