For a bright new world...
In the latest issue of Weekly Jump, Square Enix shared the latest of information pertaining to Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3. With details concerning where the game is set in and some of it's endearing features.
The world of Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 takes place in "Break World." It is a world composed of broken-up continents. The game will feature never before seen futuristic towns and cities never before seen in the series, wastelands, frozen lands, majestic structures and more.
The previously detailed "Ride" system makes it's appearance, it's a feature that let's you ride on friendly monsters and that they will evolve as you progress through your adventure. While riding, you can consecutively jump mid-air, perform preemptive enemy strikes, and even reach places while riding on a monster that is not accessible on foot.
There is also a nifty gear called the "Reactor" that can be used to search hidden treasures, light passages, and things not visible to the naked eye.
Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 is a follow up to the previous game in the series and is in development for the Nintendo 3DS. The game has been announced on July 15, 2015 and is expected to contain more than 500 monsters for you to befriend
