Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX -- The Mikudayo Connection

Mikudayo is Love. Mikudayo is Life.

Wait, what the heck is Mikudayo? Basically, it's the live-action version of Hatsune Miku in her Nendoroid form. She first appeared with the release of the first Project Mirai game in Japan, and quickly became a fan favorite with her cheerful demeanor, yet oddly stiff and awkward movement. This series of videos features the antics of Ms. Julia and Mikudayo.

So why is this relevant? Well, basically if this is your first time on the Miku lifestyle train, there's a few in-game jokes you might miss without watching the Mikudayo series! Of course, being obscure references means that it's going to take some time to get to in-game, and considering the wealth of content in Project Mirai DX, there's a chance you probably won't even get to the reference. But for those Miku cognoscenti out there, they'll be rolling in the floors when they find it. Trust us.

Check out all the Mikudayo videos here, localized into English by SEGA staff!
(I know it's super-weird, but stick with it!)
